CV
Noemi Hunkeler is a scenographer who conceives and realises stage and costume designs for theatre, dance, circus, and art performance. Her work begins with what is there: a space, an object, a material—used as a means to carry narrative and to create atmospherically dense, dreamlike moments.
She is a co-founder of the artist collectives leeraum.offen and Flügelmuetere. Alongside her scenographic work, she is active as a workshop coach at Tüftelwerk, a universal makerspace initiated by the Albert Koechlin Foundation, offering a range of craft-based workshops for children and adults.
She is a mother and lives and works in Zurich and Lucerne.
